ART × CULTURE × FOOD × SOCIAL

KOCHI|東風, a cultural destination in Maruyama Park, Gion, Kyoto.

AND ART oversees every stage, from brand concept and the design of spaces, exhibitions, and cultural programs to partnerships with galleries and artists in Japan and abroad, communications, and operational planning.

Beginning with contemporary art, we connect architecture, the garden, food, whisky, and conversation as one cultural experience, moving from a place to view art toward a place to experience culture.

We open Japanese aesthetics to contemporary life and share new cultural value from Kyoto to Asia and the world.

GLOBALPROJECTS

International Art & Cultural Projects
CURATION × ARTIST MANAGEMENT × INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

AND ART develops projects that cross borders, with art as their point of departure.

We look beyond one-off presentations. By carefully reading the ideas and context behind an artist’s practice, we build relationships with the markets, places, and partners best suited to each project, cultivating lasting value over time.

Our work spans exhibition curation, public art in hotels and urban spaces, and collaborations across music, fashion, and other fields.

Drawing on an international network centered in Asia and extending to Europe and the United States, we bring artists’ practices to wider audiences and create new cultural and commercial connections.

Our aim is not simply to introduce works abroad, but to create places where different cultures and sensibilities meet and give rise to new expression and value.

Across borders, AND ART connects culture with culture, and expression with society.

The Beat of RadianceD+ Museum, Shenzhen

Ryunosuke Okazaki’s first solo exhibition in China was held at D+ Museum in Shenzhen.

The exhibition unfolded across two contrasting environments: a vivid space of color shaped by natural light, and a white space created in collaboration with a lighting designer and a music artist.

AND ART led the project from international development and exhibition concept to spatial planning, local partner coordination, and curation.

By bringing the artworks, light, sound, and space into dialogue, the exhibition offered an immersive experience of Okazaki’s world.

Seasonal Art Projects at The Peninsula BeijingThe Peninsula Beijing

AND ART conceived two art projects for The Peninsula Beijing, one for Christmas and one for the New Year.

For Christmas 2024, The Path of Love and Hope used red, white, and black to tell a story of love, hope, and stillness, bringing seasonal atmosphere and emotion into the space through the relationship between color and artwork.

For New Year 2025, The Path of Renewal presented a large-scale work in the hotel’s first-floor lobby. Inspired by the Year of the Snake, the public art project created a setting that celebrated growth, hope for the future, and a new beginning.

Oracle, Ryunosuke Okazaki’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, was presented at Tang Contemporary Art Hong Kong.

Curator Zhu Tong offered a distinctive reading of Okazaki’s visual world and the ideas behind it. An artist talk during the exhibition created an opportunity to share the thinking and background embedded in the work with local audiences.

AND ART produced the exhibition in full, from the initial concept and coordination with the local gallery to collaboration with the curator.

Bob Clearmountain × Ryunosuke OkazakiArt & Music Project at Apogee Studio

In collaboration with world-renowned mixing engineer Bob Clearmountain, we presented a special project featuring Ryunosuke Okazaki’s work at Apogee Studio in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.

Apogee Studio is an emblematic site in music history, where artists including Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Billie Eilish, and Bruce Springsteen have recorded and performed.

The project brought Okazaki’s sculptural expression into dialogue with Clearmountain’s music, creating a space where art and music met across disciplines.

AND ART produced the project from initial concept through the design and realization of the international collaboration.
